This presentation will be hosted on zoom and takes a closer look at propolis; the resinous substance bees use to protect the hive. We explore how it’s created, its medicinal value, and both traditional and modern applications. Participants will gain practical guidance on propolis collection, preparation methods, and formulations for home use.
Emily Mueller is a dedicated beekeeper, master herbalist, Integrative Health Sciences Master student, beekeeping educator, and founder of Mueller Honey Bee in Akron, Ohio. Committed to honey bee preservation and public education, she is an active local member of beekeeping associations and a traveling state association public speaker.
